Emoji Unicode Cheatsheet - Emoji Encoding Reference

Tips
- Emoji are 4-byte UTF-8; MySQL needs the utf8mb4 charset to store them.
- Emoji render differently across systems (iOS, Android, Windows each have their own font).
- In JavaScript use String.fromCodePoint(0x1F600) to produce an emoji.
- Some emoji are multiple Unicode combined (skin tone, gender) and may exceed length 2.
- Match emoji with \p{Emoji} or a dedicated emoji regex library.
